General - Why Linguaphone? Linguaphone courses are the result of over a century of experience. We have quite literally perfected the process of acquiring a new language. With over 7 million customers worldwide, we have tried and true techniques that will help you quickly and effectively acquire a new language. General - What are your business hours? We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Central. We are closed all major holidays. No shipments are sent on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. General - What is your privacy policy? We do not share, sell, give away, or use your personal information for any reason other than administrative purposes (e.g. to fulfill an order completely). You will automatically be placed on our emailing list and may receive emails from time to time, but can choose to not receive those at any time. Ordering - What is the typical processing time once an order is placed? Orders that are received before 2:00 PM Central Monday through Friday usually ship out the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM on Friday will ship on Monday. Ordering - What methods of payment do you accept? We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Paypal for online payments. We also accept payment by money order or personal check through the mail. Ordering - Do you accept purchase orders? Yes. We accept purchase orders from companies. We generally do not extend credit and expect payment in full prior to shipment, but in some cases can make exceptions. We accept purchase orders either via fax or email. Please visit the Contact page for information. Ordering - Do you offer discounts for large-quantity orders? Yes. For special pricing for larger quantities, please contact us. Ordering - Is your website secure? Yes, definitely. We use 128-bit secure encryption. This means that your personal information will not be seen by others as the order is placed. Shipping - What shipping method do you use? In most cases, we use FedEx. Our customers also have the option of choosing to have packages shipped through the US Postal Service. During checkout you can choose which service you would like. Please note, shipment through the US Postal Service is not free. Only shipments that can be delivered by FedEx will be sent free of charge. Shipping - For international shipments, who pays the duties and taxes? The shipping and handling costs that you pay are for the shipment only. Any duties, taxes, customs, or import fees are the responsibility of the customer. Returns - What is your return policy? We are confident that you will love our courses. If you feel that the course isn't what you expect, you may return it at your expense for within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt. You will be issued a full refund of the purchase price minus a 15% restocking and processing fee. If you purchase a course and decide to return it unopened condition, the restocking fee will be reduced to 5%. All returns must be pre-authorized by contact us either by phone or email.
We do not offer a return or refund policy on our downloadable products. No exceptions. Returns - What if I receive a defective CD or product? If a CD or product that you receive is defective, please contact us either by telephone or email and we will promptly ship a replacement to you at no charge. We do not accept returns of defective products for a refund. Defective products will be replaced at no charge to you.
